Welcome to Le Torte Dolci. We are a European style bakery with American flair located in Springfield, Ohio. We bake our pastries, breads and cakes fresh daily in small batches using quality and local ingredients.
The head chef and co-owner Lisa Freeman has developed the recipes we use by incorporating concepts and ideas from Europe with her own techniques. She has been baking for many years, but this is her first venture as a commercial baker. She and her husband and co-owner, Dan, along with their kids have taken many trips to Europe and found themselves very attracted to the local bakery styles they saw in many major European cities. They decided to mimic some of this experience and flavor here in downtown Springfield.
